At Fig & Olive in New York. The wine was medium to light ruby in colour and offered a sour-scented nose of cherry, red and some dark berries, coffee and vanilla. On the palate the wine showed red cherry, red and dark fruit, coffee and vanilla, with fresh, medium-level acidity, fine, medium-level tannin, a good, creamy mouthfeel and very good length. The medium- to light-bodied wine had moderate complexity, but was balanced and drank well. A bit pricy for what it is.
