  Notes after two hours open. Light pale gold color with no particulates, clear and sound. Light to medium intensity nose of elderflower, butterscotch, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fairly restrained fruit and much lower ripeness (RS + abv) than I usually expect from McPM, but it works nicely with the balance of acidity and malo, along with a kiss of oak that runs throughout the palate and finish. Nice wine, but I do wonder if it is already on the fade or whether I would have preferred it a year ago.
