  • Long story short - the oak has never integrated well and after 10 years and the level of oak I doubt it will.

Worth noting though that is that the wine otherwise is not tired. Would been interesting to try the wine with neutral larger (shorter?) oak treatment.

  • A good well made wine, yet I would maybe have like there to be a bit more of a Xinomavro taste profile - feel that it gets a bit lost with the other varieties.

While high quality and rather well integrated oak is used it is somehow not that agreeable in my taste. It gets a bit of that oak tannins feel but then again I am also not that much of a fan of that element in Bordeaux wines.

Will keep remaining bottles for a few more years to see what happens.
