Impressive for under $20. Enjoyed over two nights, this displays solid typicity and, for me, just the right touch of sweetness. I seldom enjoy today's Kab-level wines as they skew more toward a Spat-level than Kab, but this, having evolved for many years in the bottle has a softness to the r/s, allowing the acids and fruits more room on the stage. Really enjoyable food wine that I would be happy to encounter tomorrow or 5 years from now. 9% abv, recommended

Pears and minerals. Nice richness and finish. Simple but solid.
