50% Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Cab Sauvignon. Decanted 1 hour. Translucent red to edge. Red fruit on nose. Light, cherry some oak, some tannin to start. Not "Reserve by CA stds. Maybe for Stonehedge. With food, after an hour, oak, oak and more oak. Then, some strawberry, almost pinot character (for me). At 2-1/2 hours, oak (not in a bad way, now) red fruit. Bit of a backhanded compliment, but I am thinking that I will let the second bottle rest for another 4 or more years, see if this all can come together. This may become better than it was tonight. Time will tell.
