Light golden with translucency. Nose floral, some lanolin. Palate light bodied, some golden apple. Possibly could have more acid, perhaps on the downslope? Interesting to try a Long Island (NY) chenin. 89 pts

Dark golden color. Nose bruised apple, golden stone fruits, hint of florals. Palate with initially peppery bite, golden peach and bright lemon with acacia honey notes, some beeswax richness on finish. Really nice. Per back of bottle notes, from vines dating back to 1982, whole cluster pressed, fermented in stainless steel. 11% abv. 92 pts for now, will revisit with age

Marathon Tasting at Paumanok with Charles and Kareem: I like this wine a lot. this is showing a bit more subdued than it did last year - but also more mineral touches. bright gooseberry flavors, great citrus mid. Apples and a touch of honey. cant wait to try it in 3-4 years.

LI Trip: Floral, sweet tropical notes, mid is full of mango and yellow apples. Riper, richer than 14. finish is long with zest. deep. lot of things going on but needs time. 91 now but with a big +++
