  Another fresh and tasty wine from the Alto, specifically the small DOC of Bramaterra. This is a new project from the former winemaker at Tenute Sella, imported by PortoVino, and purchased from CSW.
  
  Volcanic soils and a blend of Nebbiolo with Croatina and Vespolina. Bright translucent red in the glass with well balanced red fruit on the nose. Spry minerality balances the fruit and provides a nice food-friendly backbone. Eminently gulpable.

  70% nebbiolo, 20% croatina, 10% vespolina. 30- to 50-year-old vines on volcanic and sandy soils. More structured and aromatic than the Coste della Sesia but thought its younger sibling had better balance.
