A surprisingly light and graceful bottle, that age has given an almost Burgundian elegance. Subtle nutty nose of an aged vintage port. Wonderful balance on the palate, just sweet enough, with delicate fruit and no tannin. I think I prefer this style to a vintage that's all boldness and bluster.

Surprisingly good condition for the poor storage it had experienced. Cork was almost a gonna, but it tasted great

Complex but light. Cork was unable to be removed, but air was released when opened. Decanted through cheesecloth

I didn't expect much from this bottle, but I was pleasantly surprised.
