PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass ("Root" day): Medium ruby with watery rim.
Very aromatic with an alluring array of florals, then an assortment of petite red and blue berry fruits. Some sweet spices in the background. Deep and refined nose full of delicate aromas awaiting to be discovered.
Great level of acidity that is fine-boned and fresh. Good amount of minerality on the palate too. Silky tannins that are perfectly extracted. Persistent finish with a soft touch.
Enjoyable already but will clearly benefit with age to achieve better integration overall. Essence of Fred Cossard's style but this has the qualities that are arguably very 'Volnay' too if you ask me.
93-94 points.

Consistent with previous note. Bubblegum, candied fruit, sweet red fruit, caramel and oak on the nose. The palate has some nice red fruit but the oak certainly needs time to integrate. 90+

The Roncerets is more reserved than the lurets when they are compared side by side. Nose and palate had strawberries, candied fruit, spice, wild berries, and bubblegum. It is not as ripe and sweet as the lurets. Palate is tannic and little bit rustic. Cossards wine making style dominates the terrior. I would give this 3-4 more years.
