  Del Dotto Barrels & Beasts 2016 (Del Dotto Winery): Served from a 12L Balthazar bottle. This was the best of the three wines when compared to its 2013 and 2014 siblings.
  
  Specific notes of black and red currant, cedar, dust, vanilla, red and black licorice, and plum. Noteworthy quality and mouthfeel. Less fruity than the 2014, but still started to become a little plumy after an hour in the glass.
  
  92-93 points.
  
  One of many Cabernets served with Beef Tenderloin; duchess potato, garden mirepoix, red wine stewed morels.
