Delicious. Have had several of these, I break them out with spicy Mexican or Asian foods. Have no friends who will tolerate a sweet (ish) wine so usually I'm on my own but at 9% that's not a huge problem. If you are reading this far and like Spatlese, you can trust this bottle.
The sweet/sour juxtaposition warps my taste buds in a most rewarding way!
And what is it that the Germans only like dry Riesling now? Sad to invent something great and then buy into some temporary hysteria against sweet wine? When the average American's annual sugar intake is like 135#?

Off-dry. Nose of apple and tangerine. Palate is viscous, with apple and mango flavors. There's enough acidity to keep it refreshing, and a touch of minerality as well. 9%abv. Very nice!

Kruger-Rumpf quick impressions: Very rich; full, ripe fruit. Loads of very nice acid. Red apple and that chalky lime thing I find in most Kruger Rumpf wine. Perhaps my favorite of the tasted Kruger-Rumpf 2015s.
