Non-vintage, but seemingly made every year or so, I bought a bottle about a year ago from the winery (Aron Hill) and this one says 14.5 abv - whereas their web site is showing this wine as 15.7 abv…
A blend - mostly zin but also some cab. The bottle doesn’t indicate the percentages.
A fun wine - definitely a winner for bbq. Though not so sure about the QPR. The current release shows as $32. Can’t recall what I paid… probably a few bucks less.
Nose is filled with bright zin fruit, smoke, and bramble.
The cab comes through on the palate with good structure, complexity, and nice round tannins.
