Needs time; at this point is a bit brooding and disjointed with noticeable oak. Savory and almost aggressively volcanic, with good acid and concentration, and only fruit in the way of lemon-lime and bit of bitter lemon peel. Day 2 has integrated better but also flattened out.
At this point I’d advise waiting a few years for it to come together before drinking; better to focus on the younger base cuvée that is drinking wonderfully now.
