Slow ox'ed for 30 mins and poured through a vinturri. Appearance of medium garnet-ruby in the glass. There are herby black cherries and earthy dark raspberries on the nose with some hints of baking spice. On the palate there are some fine grained tannins intermingled with cassis and black cherries with hints of dark bitters at the end. Medium bodied with a medium finish. If tasted blind, I would say that this is a high end Cotes du Rhone, but the price I paid for is the price for a ho-hum Cotes du Rhone.

Strong berries on the nose. Medium tannins. Backberries, spice, herbs and notes of cherry and pepper on the tongue.
Not terribly complex but a powerful wine and surprisingly good for its price.

Berries up front and pepper at the end. Slighty drying a good buy @ $14

I thought this was pretty decent for the money. Took an hour to open up and was much, much better after this.
Nose: berry pastry, bit of cedar that blew off into spices
Palate: slightly under-ripe cherries, herbs de provence
Medium+ acidity, medium- body, medium- tannin.
