PnP - with a bit of coaxing the wine opens up - light spice, red fruits and hints of strawberry candies - good energy across the palate - zippy acidity and moderate tannins. Quite nice and seems like it has some time ahead of it - maybe another 5+ years?

No specific notes. This showed black fruit with some red berries on the palate; it seemed a little simple. This was an average value for the money at just over $20.

MNB: Grab bag (Home (Noe st)): (blind) Medium minus ruby. Slightly reductive nose (faint singed rubber) with organic earth - wet leaves, and tart black cherry fruit. Faintly confected - possible whole cluster? Slight coinpolish / manure - a bit dirty. Dry, full-bodied, 14% alcohol, medium plus acid, high-minus tannins - grippy and a bit green, significant bitterness.
No oak influence. Youthful reductive wine. High tannins. Medium minus ruby color with no rim variation.
Laterals: - Langhe Nebbiolo 2016 - Gamay - too tannic - Bandol? mourvedre - usually lower acid, hotter, and dirty.
Final call 2016 Langhe Nebbiolo.
2013 Fleurie Clos de Mez La Dot marie-elodie zighera confuron 13% Analysis: super high green/sticky tannins! Seems super high even for a Moulin-a-Vent.
A bit too tannic right now for me.

A bit of <reductive> Syrah-like stink on the open. Double decanted and then drank over dinner. Not much development or change - reminded me of a bottle that had been open for a day.

Solid. A little hot, a little clunky. Not pretty. Nice fruit, good structure. Black licorice, raspberry. No problems. Just not my scene. Suprisingly tannic.
