A trio of Friday Syrahs: Well 14 N Rhone doesn't have a great reputation but, having bought 3 bottles thought I'd give this a try. Clearly more dilute than other vintages, and maybe not as focused - this is still a fun, engaging wine. Should you rush out and buy some? Probably not - but equally, if you have some - an enjoyable drink - not quite thrilling but...thrilling adjacent.

Smoky nose and some blueberries. Fractured and atomised. Chaotic and unstructured. Not really coherent. Collapsing at best, poorly made at worst.

Typical Cornas in character with blueberry and blood-iron notes. Just missing the fine-boned tannins of more recent vintages.
