Consistent with notes from June 2016,, just a little riper and rounder, with a blanched almond note. It is moderately creamy and has more body than the 12% alcohol level would indicate. Still drinking well and evolving, but there's quite a bit of bottle variation.

Pale straw color, sauvignon blanc-like tart aroma, a hint of bubblegum sweetness. Rounded, full mouth feel with flavor of green apples and, frankly, fresh green grapes. My kind of pinot grigio!

Tasted blind. Pale straw in color with slight green hue. The nose is clean, medium in intensity, with green apple, lemon, white peach and white flowers. The palate is dry and consistent with the nose, with tart fruit, medium (+) acidity and medium alcohol (12%). The mid-palate also shows off some creaminess (possibly due to lees aging or malo). There's a slightly bitter, mineral streak on the medium long finish. This is a very crisp, food friendly wine which is drinking very well now. This is not intended for aging. It could be mistaken for an Albarinho, but this wine is lighter in color and less aromatic.

A swig of the Grig with the twig might make a fellow renege.
Great marketing. Low QPR.
