Brokenwood Cellar Door: 20% new oak. Vanilla, oats, straw and orange. More texture than the estate Chardonnay, mid-good length. Nicely approachable and drinking well now.

Whistestop Hunter tour (Hunter Valley): Spicy, cheesy, yeasty' wild ferment over peach. Soft but with juicy acidity. More fruit on the palate. Easy. Forgettable.
