Narrow, dark, and deep. Inky and ferric with herbaceous black fruit. Almost Spanish, but with the softer, powdery tannins of a Merlot and, by the second day, the brighter acid of Italy. In fact, very good. Personally, another red of obvious quality and class that for whatever reason I just didn't fall in love with.
