  I'm not sure this wine ever had a peak but it was certainly well past its 'best by' date. I inherited this wine from my Dad's small collection. He leaned towards cheaper bottles - this is a good example. It wasn't great but sort of tolerable. I've had worse. There was light sediment with a nose of blackberry and cherry - with similar tastes. The body was light/medium. I certainly wouldn't buy another one any time soon.
