Not the usual moth watering acidity I'd expect for a PYCM. Rounder on the palate, After about 3-4 hours I started to sense some of the acidity. Enjoyed, but torn on the difference overall.

Sunday round 2 (Chicago, IL): Pretty much the same as I remember from a few weeks ago. Good richness and intensity in the way PYCM does, without going over the top from the vintage. Feels like this may have been picked on the early side thanks to the acidity.

Dinner at Jaleo (Chicago, IL): Yeah, all PYCM wines taste kind of the same and this one also shows very clearly the house style. Opulent and incredibly rich, broad, and oaky, this also has a really good kick of acidity on the back end to balance things out. The oak shows fairly prominently but it's not astringent; you get more of a lactone thing instead of any bitterness. Slightly waxy texture that is either the producer style or the village.

This was a bit dissapointing.... 2015 character is really showing through here...just not enough acid. having said that....this is still the best 2015 white burg I have had....I just don't like this vintage accross the board.
