  Most Oregon Pinot Gris tastes about the same. All good/pretty good. That said, this is an excellent wine from a very good year, and it shows. What stands out is balance and enjoyabilty. Nice ripe fruit, lovely pear and quince nose, perfect balance of acidity. A wine that satisfies and promises more with each sip. New Zealand winemaker, former winemaker at King Estate. Kudos!
