A sparkling Gamay rosé. The fermentation is halted at around 8% ABV and the wine is bottled develop carbonation in the bottle. 8,5% alcohol. Lot L0919, so probably the wine is based on the 2019 vintage?
Pink rose color. The nose feels sweet, fruity and expressive with aromas of raspberry juice, some strawberry cream, a little bit of herby spice and a hint of red-fruit jelly. The wine feels youthful, fruity and medium-sweet on the palate with a light-to-medium body, a gentle and sparse mousse and vibrant flavors of strawberries, some raspberry jam, a little bit of sweet grapey fruit, light floral tones, a candied hint of fruit jelly and a touch of stewed red currants. The high acidity lends good sense of freshness and focus to the wine. The finish is quite sweet and fruity with a moderately long aftertaste of strawberries, some raspberry juice, a little bit of stony minerality, light spicy nuances and primary hints of youthful candied fruit.
A fun, balanced and tasty little pét-nat. A great alternative to a classic Bugey fizz. Nothing too serious, but enough depth, nuance and freshness to be taken seriously. This may not be a grand vin, but I'm loving this!

One dimensional, no acidity to counter the sugar

Very nice, but a bit of straightforward. Lots of raspberry tones.
