  Slow-ox 1 hr, tasted over 3 hrs
  -nearly semi-translucent med red slight clearing at edge
  -lifted perfumed spice and red fruit
  -med+ acidity, med/med- weight sappy tart spicy red fruits, somewhat bitter med tannins leave an astringent note on the finish along with some residual wood influence
  -nice aromatics, lacks some power for a Mazy and a bit out of balance as many '08s can be at this stage, not sure where this will go in the future

  Super youthful. A blast of pepper, and lots of wild cherry. This has structure for days. Piquant acids. Good meaty tannins. Serious stuff that needs many years to show its best.

  nose was amazing and i kept going back for more. great complexity and build. dark fruits, minerality. tight right now and needs 5-10 years at least. very well made wine. agreed this doesnt have the finesse of latricieres, however it is just a different terroir, the latricieres was amazing.

  My favorite wine of the entire line-up at Burgundy Wine Co. with Pascal. Complex nose that kept evolving and I'm sure is not even close to show all its potential. Compared to Latricieres- as Pascal commented, this is more muscular, rustic, less elegance and finesse than the Latricieres. I'm becoming a big fan of '08 more and more. I think this is probably near-perfect structure. I bet this wine in 2021+ will be simply phenomenal!
