A delightful wine of big fruit and oak on the nose. Smooth drinking with just a touch of tannin. Still plenty of life in this and probably will improve over the next 3 years but drinking beautifully at the moment. Gold in Cairns Gold in Sydney Gold in Cowra

The oak is still present but I picked up some yeast and alcohol as well. The presence of alcohol seems to have increased since my last bottle. I hope this does not get any stronger , I let the wine breath for a day and still the alcohol was there, it's not offensive at the moment hope it stays that way, let's see.

Not a bad wine, but it pales into insignificance immediately following a 2005 Meshach. The Artisan tastes immediately fruity, almost a fruit bomb, the plum and black berry fruits so vibrant. There are petroleum notes on the nose. However, there is not much in the way of secondary complexity, not even any significantly detectable oak. I expected much more from the 2015 Barossan vintage, and have tasted much better from much more inexpensive wines. Not bad value in a mixed case, but not worth the asking RRP.
