Acquerello (San Francisco): No formal notes on this. A decent rose but fairly humdrum. Just ok in the depth department, but the flavors overall on the mid-palate were a bit too lithe for me.
As a pairing, this was "fine," but I think I would have preferred a crisp white (a Viognier perhaps, or more likely a Chablis with some nice oyster shell or limestone notes) to go with the crispy branzino, charred brassicas, monococco, and ‘Bagnèt rosso’ dish.

A juicy, full bodied and lovely pizza wine. Clean fruit. Good concentration too.
