Very closed in on itself and unpleasantly acidic on day one.
Day two was much better, but this needs time. Pretty classically structured and not at all a fruit bomb. The nose and palate are pretty well aligned, with blackberry and black cherry, but more dominated by big iron notes, buffered by black olives, tar, meatiness, smoke and the generally assembling the usual cast of "savory syrah" flavors. More acidic than tannic, although both are in various parts of the med+ range. Finished med+ to long, with the iron / rusty nail flavors really drawing themselves out.
Drink with a long decant or hold.
