Moncur Syrah/Shiraz (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): slight sour and damp red currant fruit, rose petal, perfume and green pepper spice, perhaps a touch of stalkiness as well, lots going on…more of the same on the palate married to chalky, chewy tannins. Okay.
