Would never have guessed Franken in a blind tasting, rather Rheingau or maybe Rheinhessen due to the crystalline minerality and bone dryness (8 g/l TA vs 1.2 g/l RS). The fruity side is somehow in balance with citrus (of course), tangerine, and something tropical (mango?). And don't forget the petrol and the creamy finish. Amazing Riesling GG! Lobenberg stated that this is one of the top German Rieslings of 2015 and rated 100p. I'd rather agree with Sucklings 94p and his verdict regarding its "super-natural freshness".

Do not open. I thought this was ready to drink after five years and a warm vintage but, oh shit, the TR-808 be bangin' like this was 1992 if you know what I mean. Aaaaacid, massive acid, massive minerality and massive length. A monstrous wine of astonishing focus and purity. Let's see how this fares in 2025 because right now this is still borderline undrinkable even after one hour decant time.

Disappointing after PnP. Seems to be in a dull phase. The rest of the bottle, one glass, after two days in the fridge was amazing! herbs, petrol, grapefruit, pencil, and a cutting lemon tarte acidity. Won‘t open another bottle for 5 years, as this has 93/94 Potential and is in clear demand for more ageing.

My last btl was good, but this was excellent. On the nose, dense gooseberry, lime, a touch of yeast, herbs. On the palate, lovely acidity, lime, lemon, floral notes, fantastic dry extract, dense on the palate, with lime and sweet orange on the finish.

Wow, even better than my last btl. See those notes, but the density and volume were turned up. Just lovely.
