The 2015 ‘La Colline Vineyard’ is composed of 100% old vine Semillon - 15% Semillon Gris, 85% Semillon Blanc. The wine displays a light straw color with slightly cloudy appearance. As it begins to slowly open in the glass it releases its completely exotic aromas of orange zest, lime, fresh jasmine along with a flinty mineral and saline character just to name a few. This continues to impress on the palate with its remarkable balance and gorgeous texture backed by lovely acidity and mineral streaks lasting through the finish. This is a simply incredible Semillon from Chris and Suzaan Alheit which needs to be experienced by everyone. (Best 2016-2025) - November, 2016 (JD)

Floral, fresh, mineral, slightly creamy - very harmonious and long. Drink or keep. 92-94

Very big wine, drank it too early, will soften over the next 2 - 3 years.
