Franken Riesling VDP Quality Erste Lage Grapefruit, pineapple and green apples in the aroma. Bouquet absent. Fiery acidic attack. Feels almost effervescent on palate. Soothing fruit sweetness on mid palate with hints of primary aromas. Light body. Short finish, not big on complexity. Excellent value for money. Can recommend as a palate cleanser or aperitif.

Rhubarb, apple, minerals and a slight hint of kerosene in the already very open and delicate nose. Fresh apples, pear, with exotic fruit notes on the palate, fine aciditiy, a good solid mouthfeel and a medium+ aftertaste. A bit more elegant and complete than the Bürgerspital wines from vineyards closer to the city of Würzburg. Very impressive at 13 EUR!

Still quite complex but not really gaining complexity or weight since the last bottle. I would drink it with in the first 5 years of its live.

bouquet of peaches, almonds and minerality. On the palate the balsamic acidity is nicely integrated. Quite complex and a great PQR at 13€.
