We keep on trying to wow folks with Bougetz wine. (We certainly always get inquiries as to where the wine came from, but we have no idea if anyone goes out and buys some). This bottle certainly did wow. While we do like all the various Cab's from Bougetz, we do feel that the Prominence Reserve is worth the extra cost.
Drank from a magnum, with a 15 minutes delay before serving. While there is no problem with continued aging, it is ready to drink now. It had been a couple years since the last time we drank the 2014 and it has pleasantly evolved over the last couple of years. Again, just spectacular.

this is just a marvelous wine. In our opinion, hands down the best of the red's from Bougetz, and well worth the extra cost. Drank from a magnum, without decant or airing out. A fairly dramatic change from initial taste to about 10 or 15 minutes later. Definitely don't need to decant or let breathe for a long time, but do try to open a few minutes before serving. We did not notice much further change over the next couple hours.

This vintage is ready to drink. No problem continuing to age it, but is incredibly good right now. I agree with another note that this might be the best value premium cabernet that we have found.

Opened 2 bottles. First bottle was smooth and silky and hints of Cherry/Leather and fantastic. A solid 95-96. Was given 20-30 in the decanter. Second bottle tasted ok but had a musty aroma that certainly reduced the enjoyment.

Absolutely the best value I've found for a premium Napa Cab.
