  I expected more. Harsh and abrasive with raisin peeking through. Can’t tell if this is a poor vintage or a storage issue. Not typical of this high quality Napa blend. Age won’t help here.

  Still in that transition phase into middle age. Moderate body w some jammy fruit. Good cork. Decanted. Settled out after an hour decant. Will try the next one at 25 yrs.

  When the bottle was first opened it had an off odor like acetone. Decanted it blew off in about 30 minutes and the wine developed to very enjoyable and balanced with a long velvety soft tannins on the finish

  Pleasantly surprised.....hanging on quite well. Cork came out in 2 pieces. Not overly saturated at all. Nice forest floor, earth and black fruit. Was worried reading other reviews but this bottle could go another year or two. I would start finishing these if you have them. Great with hard cheeses in the spa......marcona almonds and 4 different cheeses.
