Lemon oil, with some cream and nuttiness on the nose. A bit of fresh lemon with good mixed nut and spice accents. There’s energetic acidic freshness, which comes across beautifully. A very crisp and well put together wine. Also one of the better PYCM’s I’ve had, with good lines and subtleties. Seems to belie the vintage, though here’s proof there are fresh and balanced 15’s out there.

Incredible wine. Showing a lot of reduction and should prove to age well. Quince, Creme Fraiche, Hazelnut, Smoke. Cant wait to try this again. Great Sushi wine.

2015 Puligny and Chassagne from Colin-Morey (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Complex aromas with more sulfur once again showing up. Rich and mouth filling, more obvious wood but also lactic creaminess that is reminiscent of Grand Crus. Dry, lots of soil on the finish along with late bitter citrus. Right now, this is eclipsed by the Grand Montagne, but it could be special if the citrus holds up and the wood eventually takes a back seat. That's a big if given the volume of oak.
