Decanted for two hours and served with lamb, which worked well. Nice legs and nose. Tannins are perfect at this point, to my taste, but it is (still?) quite hot on the alcohol. Will keep my other two bottles for 3-4 years.

A more polished Victorino. It seems that Eguren family is taking it to a Numanthia-kind-of wine. It’s not the former robust Toro but a balanced one. Drinking window open till 2027, at least

Still some raw tannins to soften and plenty of fruit, so wait until 2024 or 2025 for next bottle...

Great tempranillo from Toro. Quite old vines. 50-100 years old. Well balanced. Tannis well grained. Elegant, concentrated and powerfull.

I can’t understand the hype in this wine. It’s really nice but way to much oak and to hot in my opinion
