P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt balanced by a crisp acidity that becomes the face of the wine as it slowly, fairly seamlessly transitions into a LONG, BALANCED, tangy/swt finish with glimpses of a very, VERY slight bitterness that's an asset with food. At its peak (or slightly beyond), drink during the next 6-9, poss 12 mos. 13% ABV; My EXC-, & I'd certainly listen to an argument for EXC based upon QPR. Went well with Grilled Rock Fish & TJ's Rice Pilaf. // Day 3: Some oxygenation, but well within expectations. Applish aromas with hints of honey on P? [As of late Apr '20, wine-searcher shows no sources for this vintage].
Note: Also tasted on 7/1/ & 9/30/17, + 7/16/18.

N: Flowers with notes of spice & undertones of apples
P: Med body; Rndish entry with NICE, almost swtish frt met by a firming, almost astringent acidity which morphs into a LONG, tangy/swt (75:25) finish which has its own unique, but tough to define, character. N > P, though I'd describe both as "tight", poss even drying? I'll likely wait @ least another yr on the chance the duckling DOES become a swan. ;) 13% ABV; My VG+.
Note: Also tasted on 7/1/ & 9/30/17.

P: MF, poss Med, body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by TANGY acidity which SLOWLY morphs into a LONG, slightly tangy, VERY slightly bitter finish with a slightly honied facet. I enjoyed the wide ranging flavors of this food wine which is poss still improving. Drink now & through '19, poss a tad longer. [Tasted @ $17.95, though as of early Jan '20, I saw no remaining U.S. sources for this vintage on wine-searcher].
Note: 1st tasted on 7/1/17

Winebar [5 Whites & 6 Reds] from 9/29/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Barnyard with minerals & other tough to parse elements, the barnyd pretty much blowing off to a floral, almost honied aspect

Great example of a Savoie favorite. Crisp, refreshing. Fantastic accompaniment for any seafood. Citrus, orange peel notes.
