Around an hour of decant time, this is a big nosed, big bodied wine with plenty of dark fruit, chocolate and vanilla notes and light herbal tones. A little more tannic than expected, this exhibits a more extracted style of wine making.

The first pour really packed a wallop. Mostly black fruit, with black licorice, oak, cocoa, and dried herbs. It made me think the wine would be too young for most people.
It relaxed quite a bit in just an hour's time. The licorice wasn't as heavy, and some red fruit showed up to accompany the black fruit. The dried herb flavors continued to really stand out as I finished the bottle. I think those who really enjoy savory flavors in their wine, would find this to be a standout. I'll definitely want to have this again.

White some new oak on the nose. And harvested a little bit leaner to give it some back bone. Could use more time to ease in. Just my taste, could be sluttier and would sell more.

Robe très foncée, belle profondeur, sur la reglisse, la vanille, fruits noirs. Persistant, bref très agréable.
