Dark burgundy color. Earthy plum nose. Tobacco plum boysenberry spice leather. Mouthfeel is smooth and brief with slight tannin then spice finish. There is a sweetness in this smokey spicy wine. I see it pairing well with grilled meats, BBQ and good hard cheeses.

Pale to medium ruby in colour, even intensity, and not much leg spreading.
My first whiff sensed a strange, meaty aroma, like cooked pork, with undertones fruit, hard to pinpoint. Chocolate maybe - smells like a nice shop.
The taste was something altogether different. Nothing intense, but plenty to pick up. more than I expected and very pleasantly surprised. Moderate acidity, not too much Tannin. Black olives, hint of pepper maybe, tapering to a lovely smokey finish. Sweetness emerged. More complex than I can do justice (still a beginner...)
Strikes me as a wine that would pair very well with rare steak or fine cured meats and cheeses.

Mediocre. Good enough as a table wine.

This is a very flavorful wine with good body and nice finish. It is smooth and can easily be an everyday wine. Definitely buy again.
