  • Muted nose, then all red berries with silky mid palate, ending with a good grip and slight bitterness.

  • Pop and poured at home. Diam cork. Drank over 1.5 hours in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of smoky wood, gamey meat, red plum. Developing.
On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), grainy medium- tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of brambly spice and earth, smoked wood, game meat, red plum, small touch of black cherry. Medium finish.
Good quality. But quite front loaded. Can develop more I suppose but doesn't seem to have the exact right balance for me. Glad I drank it up.

  • A perfect blend of old world and Oregon style Pinot. Fruit forward but restrained at the same time. Tannins just about non existent with a moderate plus finish. A bit of smoke / wood along with a ton of acidity although perfectly in harmony with all components.
