  Struck me this time as fresh blackberry pie - big sweet fruit flowing from the glass, something hinting at brown sugar, baking spices and a background of figgy deliciousness. Decent decant required at a minimum, but this would be best left to nap for a few more years.

  Absolute stunner of a wine in very much a modern California style - to say fruit forward would be almost an understatement. Gobs of dark fruits pour forth, oak is well integrated. Tannins are managed such that this wine is easily accessible now but Im sure this can age well into the future. That will never happen as I'll drink it as soon as I can get it. Decanted for about an hour and half and enjoyed over the next hour at least after that. Beautiful stuff esp with the steak we had with this bottle.
