While our notes from our last bottle over two years ago are still accurate, everything is waning. Nice, and mildly acidic, which pared well with eggs Benedict for breakfast. [Can’t help loving wine for breakfast]. Drink now.

A cup of this wine went into the risotto, and the rest went into me. Light peach tones, floral notes, and some honey scents speak to varietal correctness, and the medium body speaks to a California expression of the grape, rather than the more limber Spanish renditions. All that being said, it disappeared rather too quickly. I am glad I left a bottle in the cellar for a bit, as the rounded edges, combined with the atypically rich body, make for a pleasing texture to accompany the delicious flavors.

Fruity, full bodied, slightly sweet tasting Albarino. Lacks acidity to keep it fresh but drinking very cold helps. This wine's acidity has declined since the last tasting. This not what you'd expect from a Albarino in the grapes home country of Spain, but it does provide an idea of what type of rich Albarino is possible from a unique higher altitude site in the Sierra foothills of California.

Nice medium yellow gold color. Plenty of peach, melon, and a little citrus. This is medium-full bodied especially for an Albarino. I'd like to have more acidity in this wine to liven it up, but it is a nice fruity Albarino with a decent finish.

Hint of citrus that is replaced with honey and ripe melon and minerality on the palette. Full and bold fruit, bright cantaloupe melon and bold honey. An effervescent tinge toward the end but waning apricot finish. A delightful and bright fruit wine.
