Medium bodied, traditional styling, 1.5"/38mm aggregate cork in good shape.
Bright mountain blue and blackberries, violets, spiced meats, fresh tea leaves. Balanced... this is light on its feel while being mouthcoating and persistent.
In a great place today, the fruit is delineated and any stemmy purple baby fat has been left behind. It's on the fresher side, and I suspect in 5-7 years it will become a bit more gamey while holding on to the berries. 91 today, and likely 92+ by 2030.

Popped and poured. This was aromatically expressive and drinking well from the get go. The stems seem to have integrated vis a vis a bottle nearly two years ago. Medium bodied and well balanced, for my taste, this seems to have entered a window of drink-ability and should remain so for some years.

Textbook cool weather Syrah. Slow ox’d in bottle for 2 hrs. Dark fruits, pepper, meat, with floral notes (violets). Should improve over the next 3-5 yrs, and drink well for 7-8 more yrs. Terrific QPR.
