A very nice 2nd tier quality Chablis. Fourchaume is a little weird to me - lacks the minerality and penetration of the Grands and best 1er, but also has a succulence and ease of demeanor that makes it always welcome. This wine nicely packages this and delivers the mail. Good acids and a Meyer-lemon quality. Bits of mineral. Very nice finish that prickles a bit. Overall good stuff and no qualms to drink now.

Nice Chablis that paired very well with grilled halibut, lobster mac and seafood gumbo. This wine took about 15 minutes to start developing that "wet stone limestone citrus funk" on the nose but as soon as it is did, it was all good from there! I honestly think this one could benefit most from 3 years of bottle aging. This wine had a very thick mouthfeel at the front. Nice bit of peach and ripe pear right up front. Dried fruit and limestone in the middle with lots of acidity on the finish. Crisp, clean, and paired fairly well with a variety of dishes. Structure appears to be there, and definitely kept developing as the night went on, so I'd say this one will probably keep evolving over the next 4-5 years, but can probably hold QUITE a bit longer.

Good value wine starting to drink well. A citrus nose, it follows on through the palate with lemon and honey. At this stage the finish is a little acrid but balanced. I think time will address this and it is a great value Chablis which will be able to be fully appreciated at a young age.

Very nice wine. Generous fruit with some structure and precision, but this is all about drinkability. Very good food wine. Orchard fruit.
