Another Wine gathering at RJ’s; 4/4/2024-4/7/2024 (Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina): Beautiful mature nose displaying ripe yellow fruit, baked apple, tarte tartin, burnt sugar, brioche, lanoline, sweet spices and limestone. Very good concentration, generous mature yellow fruit, fine but medium to shy mousse, decadent and sweet, bright acidity, fine mineral, and a medium to long ripe yellow fruit driven finish with smoke at the end. This is a fully mature example. The mousse is surprisingly shy.

An excellent champagne that is drinking so well right now. Vibrant acid, good fresh flowers and white fruit, great length. Toasty and full of brioche. Yet very tensile. Have had this several times and loved it every time.

Late night at home with neighbourhood friends. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Expressive nose. Lots of brioche. Palate needs some air time to show all its complexities. Always reliably good.

The cork was super intense, firework explosion!
The foam was superior, extremely rich, layng on top of the champagne and much bubbles.
Light scent of white flowers, and floral aromas.
Taste is fresh green yummy apples mixed with some light bread, bisquit and citrus.
20 years young but I really tought it was younger. Maybe around 10 years old.
This bottle you can put away for 12 more years and open it up. It needs more storage and better bouquet.

Ver fresh, still on the young side more my palate. I still think this is the Krug which will be a positive surprise for drinkers in 10-20 years
