Pristine cork, bottle fill 1/2 inch below the cork. Still the same blackberry fruit notes on the palate and nose but perhaps more restrained than the last bottle. Maybe a little too much heat from the alcohol content of 15.5% that tends to overpower the fruit. It did seem to evolve overnight to allow air to integrate all the elements of fruit, tannin and alcohol so that the fruit finally emerged. So i really enjoyed the last four ounces though i had to filter off quite a bit of sediment at the bottom. Next time I will decant twice before serving!

Open the last night. dark red with a pinkish edge. Floral bouquet. Dark fruit, earth, just a bit sharp and hot. Still pretty good wine. 4-11-15-8: 88/100.

Absolutely delicious. Rich, ripe berries, blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry along with some cherry. Little meat and some licorice and a nice bit of vanilla.

Popped and poured, and impressive right out of the gate. Very dark red, more or less opaque with red legs. Nice spice and red fruits in the nose. Excellent in the mouth, with a rich, deep fruit presence of coffee liqueur, melted road tar, earth, and black fruits. Really huge palate impression, and great beefy, chewy tannin. This is a real treat! Should age well. 5-12-17-9: 93/100.

Last bottle I have. Solid. Full bodied, lots of alcohol, but drinking well.
