  • Deep purple colour. Dark plumb and dried fruits on nose, beautiful line of acid with rich spice and chocolate with deep black fruits.
Drank over 3 days - coming into its own on day 3. Decades left.

  • Complex brambly nose is an unexpected start to an Australian port. But this is no standard tawny wine, this is a Yarra Yerring wine! Although it's much more left-field than most of their other wines, bearing little resemblance to its European counterpart. The soft acidity to the plum and prune fruitiness is almost dry wine-like. But this is a complex wine. Lots of dusty tannins greet you before a long, complex and quite savoury finish.
