  • dsg 01/2016. Maceration rosé. 0 dosage.

Magnificent nose of red fruits, in particular the strawberry coulis. Very slight hint of smoke. It's fresh, explosive and elegant at the same time.

Voluptuous and complex palate. The maturity of the vintage combines perfectly with the 0 dosage. It's floral, with a mix of strawberry and raspberry then comes the wet stone with a light woodiness. It is structured and perfectly balanced with an ideal freshness. Sensation that the wine gives off a lot of energy. Great fruity and saline finish at the same time, where the line of smoke returns to give a nice length.

    Excellent rosé.

I was completely flashed. Lush, voluptous, Great fruit sweetness. Can't believe it is a zero dosage. Great grape ripeness. By far the best Terres rouge I had so far. Lovely Rose. 96-97

  • This one was a perfect companion rose for a main dish course- far darker rose/red (more of a dark berry color, clearly further away from a classic rose salmon color), and lots of fruit on the nose and palate. The finish got even better and longer with the steak (though the crabs matching was also amazing). Medium plus on the finish, and the wine certainly aged, and well, since the last time I had it shortly after release. Can be enjoyed, or held longer. I do not see a rush. It is more of a rose for a meal, though, not for appetizers or cocktail hour. Great minerals and very refreshing addition to the meal.

  • Second bottle from a half case. Almost five years of post disgorgement ageing (disgorged January 2016). Pélure d’oignon colour; vinous and complex nose; honeyed red berries, cherry stones, red apple, undergrowth, flowers and smoke, warmth from the wood; juicy and flavoursome but tightly wound palate with lots of minerally energy; complete and long finish. Very serious rosé champagne. Will continue to develop well.

  • Amazing nose of red berries; strawberry, blackcurrant and raspberry, blackcurrant flowers and some apple.
Palate is a perfect mix of strawberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, apple and oak.
It truly is like a red Bourgogne with bubbles - amazing experience!
