Nearly four years since last bottle, and this my last….
Cork broke on removal, otherwise no further sig of aging; still hints of browning on rim, but fruit, acidity and tannins still holding well, so good for a few years yet
Decanted one hour
Perfect with peppersteak casserole

Wife's Birthday dinner at home with family members. Refuses to lie down and die unlike most Aussie Grenaches at 10+yrs. Remains as per last New Year's Eve note. Super value at the price. Only one left - wish I had more!
NYEve at friends'. Definitely the wine of the evening. 4 bottles back-decanted for ease of transport all in identical tip top condition. Lots of earth, truffle and charred oak mingling with the brulé dark berry fruit core. Liquorice and spice integrated throughout. Mature, mellow and juicy. For drinking over the next year or so.

Last but one bottle.
This one was seriously over the top on sweet fruit and heft.

Drunk alongside an MLV grenache
Much slower to develop, initial impact overblown but over a meal the balance re-asserted itself
