  • Slightly vegetal and reminiscent of some 2011 Napa cabernets - not unpleasant. A bit of cocoa and menthol. Certainly won't change your life, but probably worth the $6 on sale.

  • Good Wine if on sale. I don't think it's worth more than $10.00.

  • I think this producer raises the bar a little with every vintage. I have always been a believer, but do remember back many vintages when these organic wine had some of that smelly nose and some off flavors on the palate. Here they have a nice balance of typical Chilean cocoa bean earthiness with a touch of rustic, organic style flavors and a core of perfectly ripened dark cherry, blackberry, mulberry and red fruit. Not quite full bodied. Dark purple color. Just a hint it green garden enters with the fruit. Some menthol, graphite and sandalwood enhancing secondary flavors. Not reall designed to age, just enjoy it now.
