Medium green/yellow verging gold. Quite tight on the nose initially, but mellowed out. Immediate impression of quality on first sip. Approachable and fresh fruit, slightly honeyed yet still tart apple, classic slippery fats, a rolling wine with a tight line. Very moreish with a creamy chicken and leek pie. Bought from an indy shop in Scotland that was closing down as the owner was dying. Very sad. He has now passed away so toasted him as we drank this. Thanks Sandy!

Superb! Golden green in the glass, immediately grassy and wholesome. A fine acidity and good roundness here from the older vines. Went really well with a creamy chicken and leek pie, and was polished off without any difficulty in one sitting! There is no deterioration, this is still exactly in the drinking window and I believe will keep for 2-3 more years from this point, so 2023/24.

Really good and better on second day. Crisp, crystalline and yet mellow. Not out and out butteriness, but considerable glide. This is drinking very well now, simply delicious white burgundy from a good year. Two more bottles to go!

Lovely pear, white peach, yellow apple, a hint of chalky-rocky minerals, lemon tart; mouth is very well balanced with good ripeness, a slight hint of tart crust and straw basket, good sifted acidity and a nice long-ish finish. Excellent value for this village level. This was a joy to drink after warming up a bit in the glass.
